چکیده

The present study was aimed to investigate the bioaccumulation and biosedimentation factors of some heavy metals in Tilapia zillii inhabiting Lake Qarun, Egypt during year, 2015- 2016. Water, sediments fish samples were collected period study. exhibited that, higher levels recorded liver except for Mn; gills showed their high accumulation while lower all studied observed muscle samples. results indicated differences different tissues with an increasing rate winter spring Zn that attained level autumn factor one. T. accumulated Cd, Cu, Fe than other organs. Mn organs greater factor, this implies bioaccumulated these from water. While, copper zinc fishes one, refers fact sediment. Histopathologically congestion interstitial blood vessel multifocal necrotic areas renal tubules. vacuolated hepatocytes, dilated central vein, compressed sinusoids, seen liver. Furthermore, intermuscular edematous between bundles obvious. increased bioaccumulation, factors, histopathological changes target risk health human consumption. Thus, current precautionary measures should be taken prevent metal pollution future.
